In a true community program, the Salvation Army receives donations of food from local businesses and then packages them for sharing with people in need in the Aberdeen area. Until now, some of the donated produce spoiled because there was no cooler in which to store it.

Thanks to a $3,400 Aberdeen Area Community Foundation grant, the Salvation Army purchased a cooler in which it can store donated foods.
