The Aberdeen Area Community Foundation made a grant of $2,500 to the Presentation College Diversity Club to support bringing Jackie Bird and Family to present a program of traditional and contemporary Native American singing, dancing and storytelling to Aberdeen for a free performance for Native American Heritage Month. The project was a partnership among the PC Diversity Club, Northern State University Native American Student Association and Aberdeen Central High School Indian Education Office & Native American Student Association.
