Junior Achievement Receives Grant

By August 1, 2024 No Comments

The Aberdeen Area Community Foundation recently awarded Junior Achievement of South Dakota $2,000 to support its work in Aberdeen schools. In Aberdeen, Junior Achievement expects to reach more than 1,900 students through the work of nearly 90 volunteers.

Junior Achievement envisions a world in which young people have the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities. Its learning experiences emphasize real-world relevance by connecting classroom learning to practical applications, including hands-on activities, simulations, and interactions with business professionals, helping them understand how the concepts they learn are applied in the real world.

The ceremonial big check was presented during a recent meeting of the Junior Achievement Aberdeen Champions.
