Concentrating on children who need them most, the Boys & Girls Club of Aberdeen provides each child who enters their doors with the tools needed to make positive choices. This club serves with one purpose: to inspire and enable young people, especially those in most need, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
The Boys & Girls Club of Aberdeen offers a wide range of programs in the following areas: education and career development; health and life skills; character and leadership development; the arts; and sports, fitness and recreation.
With their 70-year-old building experiencing leaking ceilings and flooding floors, the Boys & Girls Club of Aberdeen is raising funds to build a new 24,000 sq. ft. building with an estimated cost of $3 million.
AACF donated $10,000 towards this project to ensure the future of the Boys & Girls Club in the Aberdeen area. The donation will be utilized to support three important programs (SMART Moves, Power Hour and Triple Play) as well as provide playground equipment for the youth.
