In its March 2024 board meeting, the Aberdeen Area Community Foundation awarded several grants for Aberdeen projects. Among those was a grant to support the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Aberdeen class’ focus on upgrading Baird Park in northeast Aberdeen. The goal of the project is to make the park a more user-friendly winter destination for local residents. The AACF provided a $1,000 grant in support of the effort.
